QUICK STROKING DEVICE
DESCRIPTION
The quick stroking system also act as a safety control system to ensure that even if the central power supply fails the actuator can be reliably positioned in the pre-determined end position if required. The quick stroking device is connected to actuator. Separate accumulator is used for respective Quick stroking device. Assembly has a check valve, pilot operated check valve(2), adjustable orifice and poppet valve.
FUNCTION
This device is used for both Opening and Closing of the Valve. This depends on the poppet valve configuration.
APPLICATION
Major application in High pressure by pass system in the thermal power plant to open the actuator to prevent turbine trip.
