DESCRIPTION

The on/off control unit is used for opening and closing the hydraulic actuator on isolation valves, it cannot be used for positioning. On/off control unit consists of a 4/3 way solenoid valve to control the moving direction and throttle valve to adjust the speed as well check valves are included in the block for drift free position.

FUNCTION

BY energizing one of the two solenoids on the 4/3 way solenoid valve the valve starts to open or close. Through the throttles in the return line the speed can be independently adjusted in both directions. If the solenoid valve is de-energized the valve stays in the position.

HP By-Pass system in Thermal power plant.
